La Clinica Data Breach Lawsuit Investigation
Stueve Siegel Hanson, a national leader in data breach and privacy cases, is investigating potential claims against La Clinica de la Raza resulting from a data breach that exposed patients’ sensitive personal and medical information.
On January 28, 2021, La Clinica discovered that malware had been deployed on its internal systems that store patients’ personal information. An investigation revealed that hackers had access to patients’ full names, dates of birth, phone numbers, home addresses, health insurance information, and protected health information including dates of service, diagnoses, test results, and treatment information related to care received at La Clinica. Affected individuals are now at serious risk.
