Prudential, is one of the largest insurance providers in the United States. On March 29, 2024, Prudential announced that it discovered it had suffered a data breach where an unauthorized party gained access to certain systems within the company and acquired the sensitive information of 2,556,210 people. The information included at least: Name, Address, Social Security number, Driver’s license number, and date or birth. Although the breach was initially announced on March 29, 2024, it was not until June 28, 2024 that Prudential revealed how many people were impacted.
