Evolve Bank and Trust Data Breach
Evolve Bank and Trust is a Memphis-based, national financial institution that partners with various financial technology companies to provide technology-focused financial and lending services, such as Banking-as-a-Service. Evolve’s partners include:

On June 26, 2024, Evolve announced a data breach to its system that involved “the data and personal information of some Evolve retail bank customers and financial technology partners’ customers.”
According to Evolve, this data and personal information has been “released on the dark web[.]”
This breach may have affected individuals who bank directly with Evolve and individuals who use services from Evolve’s partners.
At least one partner company, Affirm, has announced that the data breach “may have compromised some data and personal information Evolve had on record” for its Affirm Card users. Affected individuals are at serious risk.
