Confidential Settlement Reached in Hy-Vee Wage & Hour Case

Stueve Siegel Hanson LLP filed a lawsuit on behalf of current and former Hy-Vee salaried, non-exempt employees challenging the company-wide policy and practice requiring them to perform uncompensated work.
The Court conditionally certified the claims in the case against Hy-Vee as a Fair Labor Standards Act ("FLSA") collective action and approved a confidential settlement and recovery for the class members in March 2013.
