Crystal Cook Leftridge Named Among 2022 Women's Justice Award Winners
Missouri Lawyers Media recently announced the 2022 Women's Justice Awards honorees, naming Stueve Siegel Hanson attorney Crystal Cook Leftridge among its Litigation Practitioner Award winners. This award recognizes litigators who have made their careers in the courtroom — criminal or civil, representing plaintiff or defense.
Since 1999, the Women’s Justice Awards have celebrated extraordinary women lawyers, law students, rising stars, public officials and others in recognition of the standards of professional excellence they’ve set for their peers.
Winners will be celebrated at the 24th annual Women’s Justice Awards event on May 12 at the Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis; and will be profiled in an upcoming special section of Missouri Lawyers Weekly. A full list of the 2022 honorees is available here (subscription may be required).
Leftridge represents individuals in a broad range of wage and hour litigation, including allegations of unpaid overtime, off-the-clock work, misclassification, and gender wage discrimination. She is currently on the firm team challenging habitual wage and hour violations by casinos and hospitality companies for a variety of wage and hour issues (both federal and state), including failure to provide a tip credit notice before paying a sub-minimum wage, failure to include the tip credit in the regular rate of pay for overtime, permitting managers and supervisors’ participation in tip pools, deducting gaming licenses from employees’ wages, and improper timeclock rounding.
