George Hanson Named to Missouri Lawyers Media's POWER List
Missouri Lawyers Media recently selected Stueve Siegel Hanson partner George Hanson to its POWER30 list for employment law. The honor recognizes employment law attorneys, both on the plaintiffs’ and defense side, who “have won notable jury trials under state and federal anti-discrimination statutes, class action settlements on wage-and-hour claims and important precedents in appellate courts that continue to shape the law.”
The publication’s profile of Hanson describes him as:
“Having been involved in more than 100 such actions in 34 states, recovering more than $300 million in settlements and judgments. The workers benefiting from such claims include factory workers, call centers employees, hair stylists and bank loan officers. Oftentimes, such suits result in confidential settlements, but the publicly available results often are substantial — an $8.7 million settlement in Kansas, a $27.5 million settlement in Illinois, a $20 million settlement in a nationwide MDL.”
