Overview
Stefon David applies his experience as a former defense attorney to advocate for individuals and businesses in a variety of high-stakes commercial and class action litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Stefon served as an associate at Shook, Hardy & Bacon, where he worked on a broad range of high-exposure, high-stakes matters including product liability, intellectual property, medical device, consumer protection, commercial and automotive cases.
While there, Stefon was part of the teams that litigated three civil jury trials (including two to verdict) – securing one defense verdict and one favorable settlement before closing argument. He played an integral role in all stages of litigation and gained considerable experience handling preparation of trial documents and witnesses, cross-examining experts and adverse witnesses, and arguing jury instructions as well as other trial-related matters. Stefon also delivered the closing statement in a Section 1983 Prisoners' Rights Litigation pro bono case.
Now at Stueve Siegel Hanson, clients benefit from Stefon’s practical experience analyzing litigation from multiple perspectives. Inquisitive by nature, he works to develop a comprehensive understanding of each client – and case – as well as the industry-specific knowledge. As a result, Stefon excels at addressing and explaining complex issues in a straightforward manner.
Outside of practicing law, Stefon showcases his passion for trying new things by running a food Instagram account where he highlights local restaurants.
